On behalf of The Music Therapy Center of Houston we would like to thank Rice University’s 3 A Cappella groups The Phils, Low Keys and Nocturnal for a wonderful night of music at our benefit this past Friday night. They sang to a packed house and we were able to meet so many new people and continue to help educate the community about music therapy. You can see pictures on our facebook page
We were contacted last year by a local elementary school in Ft Bend about doing a fundraiser for our center. They asked for us to come out to talk to the K-5 students about Music Therapy, show a few activities and they then helped to raise money for The Music Therapy Center of Houston by taking pictures and selling them to families and friends. After they were done we came back and did another presentation and were able to take a few pictures of these great kids with such big hearts! It is because of such generous donations as this that MTCH is able to provide music therapy services throughout the Houston and surrounding areas. Thank you and there might even be a few future music therapists in the group!
